Other Fundraising Events

The Coast to Coast and the Cycle Ride for Life are the high profile events each year as anything between 30 and 50 bikers are loose about the countryside. But although the C2C rides are significant as fundraisers our other activities make a significant contribuion. We refer to:

1. The annual fun day Barbecue and Garden Party.

2. The Auction Dinner

This event has grown in popularity and each year targets have been well and truly beaten.  With tickets at £25 and auctions taking place, plus fun events for the kids, delicious barby food and drinks everyone leaves feeling they have had a good day.

2006 £8,000 raised

2007 £10,300 raised

2008 £15,000 raised of which £2,500 came from Tony Jeffries. Tony auctioned his medal winning picture for £1,000 and his boxing glove for £1,500. Our thanks as always to the support from Sunderland AFC
